1.         Position Briefing

            a.  What the client requires in a candidate

The typical tool is a job description – which clearly identifies the skills and academic requirements needed for each position whilst providing guidance on remuneration, terms and conditions.  The job description can be provided by a client company direct to Inamco or an Inamco consultant can work with a client company and generate this document.

 

2.         Search and Attract

Inamco have an extensive current computerized database that enables a comprehensive search for candidates. Concurrent electronic and print advertising is undertaken to ensure the best possible candidates are presented.

Recruitment methodologies vary from country to country. In many countries, well designed, strategically placed advertisements are the most efficient way to quickly attract candidates.  These advertisements may be in newspapers and/or on internet sites.

Database Search

Inamco operates and maintains one of the recruitment industry's most detailed, highest quality and systemized databases. This database is used extensively and for most of the assignments we undertake.

While this database is useful for all industry categories, it is amongst the world's best for the mining and related industry and we believe it is unparalleled in the oil and gas industry.  The use of this database provides high quality candidates to clients, coupled with speed and efficiency.  Candidates' confidentiality is protected and they have potential access to some of the world's major employers in a variety of industries.

Project Recruitment and Outsourcing

Inamco has a long history of recruiting the total staffing of new mining and oil and gas projects.

Our consultants have resources industry experience and our systems and database allow us to handle multiple assignments with ease. Successful Project Recruitment often leads to outsourcing of further operational recruitment.

Inamco workforces have carried out many project recruitment exercises across Indonesia for blue chip mining, oil & gas and construction companies. Some of these projects have been for the recruitment of up to 2000 personnel within a relatively short period.

Project Recruitment is cost effective and delegation of this task allows the client to focus on delivery of the project.

Contract Employment

Utilizing our high quality recruitment practices and systems, Inamco offers the added service of providing selected personnel on its payroll, but under the supervision of clients.

This service is available for the supply of single individuals or      for  project teams.

3.         Shortlist Candidates on Selection Criteria

As we are an international recruitment and workforce consultancy that covers all levels of recruiting, the personal information that we collect and hold will usually be candidate information, submitted and obtained from candidates and other sources, including referees, in connection with applications or opportunities for work. It would include the opinions of others about candidates’ work performance, work experience, qualifications, aptitude test results and other information obtained by us in connection with possible work placements.  All verified by an Inamco consultant.

In conducting our business operations, we will hold all personal information in secure databases and will endeavor to ensure that the information remains accurate and up to date.

 

4.         Interviewing and Testing

All candidates are interviewed to determine that a match exists between client needs and candidate ability and expectations.  Interviewing techniques will be based on the competencies required by a client or as suggested by Inamco.

Inamco utilize the professional services of world leading internet psychometric assessment companies.  Psychometric testing claims to be able to assess the character strengths and weaknesses of an interview candidate, and provide an accurate profile of their suitability for a position.

There are two main types of psychometric tests: aptitude tests and personality questionnaires.  All tests are conducted by certified consultants.  Certification for testing and analysis cover all areas including (not limited to) Behavioral Descriptive Interviews, Logic and Reasoning, Skills Assessments, Aptitude Tests (general, mechanical, electrical, spatial as examples).  Various psychological tests on personality and performance can also be conducted on request or maybe suggested as additional selection tools by Inamco’s qualified staff.

It is possible to use psychometric tests before the interview process as a way of screening out unsuitable candidates, or to use them when they are trying to decide between the final few applicants.

 5.         Appointment Confirmation

Inamco will coordinate all the necessary pre-employment medical examinations and mobilizations (if required) as part of a standard placement on behalf of a client company.  Job counseling will assure you that your appointee will be ready to start work at the appointed time.  All unsuccessful short listed candidates will be notified by a consultant. 

 

6.         Post Placement Services

Inamco’s reputation is based on the correct selection and ongoing effectiveness of each new employee.   The first three months in a new organization is the period typically used for both the employer and employee to review performance, expectations and ascertain a correct fit. Inamco will provide assistance during this initial settling in period of employment.
