Finance and Accounting Manager / Finance and Accounting General Superintendent

Our Client, a Leading Drilling Mining Company, urgently requires the following position:

 

Finance and Accounting Manager /

Finance and Accounting General Superintendent

 

The key duties and responsibilities of this position are:

(Describe the key tasks and duties that the incumbent should perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annually and the output/ end results expected for each task or duty. For example: evaluate and develop maintenance procedures in order to provide clear guidance for technicians performing their assignments)

  1. Ensure the Finance and Accounting practices are according to the Indonesia Accounting and Tax standard.
  2. Ensure the Financial Report process is accurate and in a timely manner.
  3. Ensure the Payroll process and payment are accurate and in a timely manner.
  4. Ensure the Invoicing process are accurate and in a timely manner. 
  5. Manage, plan, direct and control the company expenditures.
  6. Manage; plan, direct and control the settlement payment for National Employee for Industrial Relations practices to ensure comply with the company policies and procedures, PTFI Industrial Relations Guide Book and/or the Government Laws and Regulations.
  7. Manage and establish the Compensation and Benefit packages and programs that will ensure the company is internally equitable and externally competitive.
  8. Manage, plan, direct and control the expatriate employees' salary administration.
  9. Manage, plan, direct and control the travel arrangement to employees in order to obtain an economical and efficiency cost to point of origin.
  10. Ensure the good communication between the Company to the State Government, the employee to the upper management, in between Department, and in between Site-Jakarta Offices and Head Office to support the company day-to-day operation.

 

The key challenges in this position include:

  • Maintaining in a timely manner a financial support, payroll report by setting deadlines to each report.
  • Managing conflict with the employee, the union by finding a win-win solution, meets all expectancies and the company goals and objectives.
  • Maintaining consistent practices to a variety of cases in HR and IR, to meet the company goals and objective, employees' expectations and adherence to government laws and regulations and the company regulation and policies.

 

The background, education, and work experience needed to succeed in this job are:

Minimum Education and Experience

Minimum bachelor degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration with 10 to 15 years of technical expertise in Finance and Accounting or Business Administration. Minimum of 5 years in Management role, preferably in the Mining Industry environment; or an equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience. Depth knowledge and understanding with the Indonesia Taxation. Indonesia Accounting Practices, Labor Laws and regulations. Proficient in both verbal and written English.

n  Approve promotion and new hire salaries

n  Approve final settlement payments calculation

n  Review and Approve/Sign all company Business Letter to the State Government, external parties

n  Total of approximately 100 Staff employees and 8000 Non-Staff employees

The purpose of this position is:
