Our Client, a Leading Mining Company in Papua, urgently requires the following position:

Engineering Coordinator of Steel Fabrication

Qualification:

• The Candidate must have at least 3 – 6 experiences in similar position
• Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering.
• Qualified and experienced engineering coordinator including required working tools (computer / laptop, internet access and required software) to perform onsite services of engineering coordinator of steel fabrication
• Experience in multi-discipline facilities engineering projects.
• Experience in the development of projects from feasibility stage through conceptual, detailed design to completion.

Job Description:

• Issue weekly report that has the updated status for:

1. Steel tickets that have been issued for fabrication.
2. Fabrication status of all tickets
3. Delivery status of all tickets
4. Erection status of all tickets

• Primary point of contact for all issues in the highlands dealing with problems and/or changes to new drawings to be issued and QA/QC drawings that needs to be issued to LIP for fabrication.
• Do all sequencing and prioritization of all steel before they are issued to ensure fabrication and delivery is done in the correct order. Advise and review any problems with the project engineers.
• Review and keep track of all Receipt of Material (ROM) for all material delivered from the lowlands.
• Direct all SMG yard activities in the highlands to ensure handover procedures are carried out correctly, and implement all necessary procedures necessary for efficient use of space, manpower, and proper specifications.
• Gather field information to assist in internal design drawings and confirmation/verification of new drawings.
• Direct crews as necessary for project completion in compliance with the design and recommend solutions to field problems.
• Obtain field information to assist design and engineering, and oversee construction field installation to ensure correctness
